There are a bewildering number of blogs and websites just on RVing covering everything from technical to travel, never mind all of our other interests. We are too busy to spend much time with most of them, but we do have a few favorites that we follow, and others that we go to on an “as-needed” basis.
The Gypsy Journal (Nick & Terry Russell) – There are people with character, and then their are characters. Nick and Terry both have character, but Nick is a character. Full-timers since 2000, Nick was a long time newspaper publisher in the southwest U. S. before they took to the road. Nick does a daily blog (several, actually) and publishes The Gypsy Journal as a print / electronic newspaper six times a year. A great read and a great resource. Nick has also written a number of useful guides, RV books, and several murder mysteries.
Technomadia (Cherie Ve Ard and Chris Dunphy) – TECHNOlogical NOMADs, they have lived full-time in a GMC 4016 bus conversion since 2007. They blog anywhere from daily to weekly and have built a community of similar RVers who are working from the road and using technology to do it. Always an interesting read with an interesting perspective and infectious enthusiasm. They have also written some books on RV lifestyle and technology which are very good. The most recent one on Mobile Connectivity is probably the best available on the subject.
The Mighty Bus (Jim Wilkerson & Wendy Crosby) – A cool website about a cool bus and a cool couple. Wendy was the editor of Bus Conversions Magazine for much of 2013.
